Our pups get lots of attention , with socialization with children, cats other dogs, and when available goats. They are ALL born in my bedroom, and with me supervising. Mostly they decide to give birth after midnight. So being near the bed for rest helps. I have never missed a birth of one of my litters yet.
The pups are moved from the bedroom into the kitchen at about 3 weeks, about the time they start making it impossible to sleep. Here they are kept close by to get as much attention as possible. If weather permits, they can go outside for a short time at about 6 weeks, only during the day.
I personally critique each litter. I start at about 6 weeks with specific strengths. Depth of skull, stop, depth of chest , bone type, angulation, and movement. At 6 weeks you can just start to see their movement. All these get followed to determine, pet quality, breeding quality or show quality pups.

Fair Dinkums Skip A Rope. 1st litter from Chyna and Toby. Took a major at first show at 9 months of age.

We will also have the first litter from Our Blue female Fair Dinkums Hanna. She also will be bred to CH REDNSTEDS A LOT MORE ACTION. prcd A OR B LITTER. Hanna is a 4 year old very mellow blue female. She is not as stocky as the male but still correct. She is the granddaughter of our first ACD CH Yarrabees True Gritt C.D. She was a pick from an outside breeding.
